Novamente, em menos de um mês, vai acontecer aqui no Sudeste pela terceira vez, o que os meteorológicos chamam de: Zona de Convergência do Atlântico Sul.
Nem me perguntem a origem e significado dessa expressão....Fui até o dicionário e procurei pela palavra “convergência”...Eis que surge o significado:
Convergência: (...)1. Ato ou efeito de convergir(...)
Com um pouco mais de paciência fui até convergir, daí sim, um significado mais decente: “Dirigir-se para um mesmo ponto”. Ta bom, falei, falei e falei e até agora não expliquei o que significa a bendita da expressão “Zona de Convergência do Atlântico Sul”.
Pois bem, de acordo com uns amigos lá de Harvard, me disseram que
"A Zona de Convergência do Atlântico Sul (ZCAS) consiste numa banda de nebulosidade semi-estacionária, que se estende desde o sul da Amazônia, passando pela Região Centro-Oeste e prolongando-se para o Oceano Atlântico, acarretando chuvas que podem ser intensas. Neste mês, a ZCAS configurou-se em dois episódios: o primeiro entre os dias 09 e 14 e o segundo entre os dias 21 e 25. Em ambos episódios, a banda de nebulosidade associada esteve centrada preferencialmente sobre as Regiões Sudeste e Centro-Oeste do Brasil."
